Sabrina Carpenter’s ‘Please Please Please’ Tops U.K. Chart for Second Week, Chappell Roan Secures First Top 10 Single
Carpenter is now the youngest female artist to achieve two consecutive weeks at No. 1 and No. 2.
The track, produced by Jack Antonoff, is the second single from Carpenter’s sixth studio LP, Short ‘n’ Sweet, which was released June 6, following her previous U.K. No. Chris Martin and Co. made history at Glastonbury Festival on Saturday by becoming the first band to headline the event for a fifth time, besting the Cure’s old mark of four.
