As announced Thursday (May 2), the 24-year-old pop star has been slated to perform on the series’ upcoming season 49 finale on May 18 hosted by Jake Gyllenhaal, while Vampire Weekend will take the stage one week prior. In a recent promo clip for the episode, the singer — whose new album Radical Optimism drops Friday (May 3) — helped cast member Chloe Fineman perfect her pop star impression, with little luck.
