Sabrina Carpenter Covers Chappell Roan’s ‘Good Luck, Babe’ After Saying She Had It on ‘Loop’
Sabrina Carpenter played a cover of Chappell Roan's 'Good Luck, Babe' after saying she has "been just as obsessed with her as everyone has."
On Tuesday, Sabrina Carpenter visited the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge to perform a rendition of “ Good Luck, Babe ” by her Island Records labelmate, Chappell Roan. In the video, Carpenter performed a stripped-back version of Roan’s track, adding a country twang to her pronunciation of the catchy lyrics: “You can say it’s just the way you are/Make a new excuse, another stupid reason.” The new cover comes just a day after Carpenter spoke to Rolling Stone and revealed she had the Roan hit on “ loopty loop ” and that she plays her music “all the time.”
