Saban Films Lands North American Rights to McManus Brothers’ ‘Redux Redux’ (EXCLUSIVE)
Saban Films has taken North American rights to the sci-fi revenge thriller "Redux Redux," written and directed by Kevin McManus and Matthew McManus.
The film stars the McManus Brothers’ sister Michaela McManus (“The Block Island Sound,” “The Orville”), Jim Cummings (“Thunder Road,” “The Wolf of Snow Hollow”), Jeremy Holm (“House of Cards,” “Brooklyn 45”), Taylor Misiak (“Dave”), Grace Van Dien (“Stranger Things”) and newcomer Stella Marcus. The film is produced by Mothership Motion Pictures, which reunites the team behind festival favorites “Funeral Kings” and “13 Cameras,” which includes Michael J. McGarry (“The Wolf of Snow Hollow”), PJ McCabe (“The Beta Test”), Nate Cormier (“Star Wars: Bad Batch”) and the McManus Brothers. Upcoming titles from XYZ Films include the SXSW standout thriller “Hallow Road,” directed by Babak Anvari and starring Rosamund Pike and Matthew Rhys; “The Trip” starring Jason Segel, Samara Weaving, Juliette Lewis and Timothy Olyphant, which is currently in post-production; “Havoc,” directed by Gareth Evans and starring Tom Hardy and Forrest Whitaker which premiered on Netflix Friday April 25th; True-story exorcism thriller “The Ritual” starring Al Pacino and Dan Stevens which releases wide this summer; and “Something Beautiful,” the new visual album from Miley Cyrus.
