The former Coronation Street actor, 39, headed home to Manchester on Wednesday with his fiancée Lucy Mecklenburgh and their children Roman and Lila.
Lucy and Ryan's brothers Adam and Scott Thomas proudly watched from the audience and told hosts Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern earlier on in the show how the actor deserved to win after working so hard. Son Roman looked adorable in a grey tracksuit and white trainers and a blue baseball jacket with his initial, while Lucy was dressed head to toe in designer clothes and carried a YSL bag Ryan beat Made In Chelsea 's Miles Nazaire and partner Vanessa Bauer, after DJ Adele Roberts finished in third place and Olympian Greg Rutherford was forced to quit hours before the show
