That's what Ryan Reynolds had in mind when put on the spot as to what classic Hollywood star he would cast as the titular superhero he's brought to life across three films, including the new release Deadpool & Wolverine. "I am definitely laying claim to [being] the next Cary Grant, particularly his retired era," Reynolds joked to Mankiewicz in a clip from his interview shared exclusively with Entertainment Weekly. Their conversation ran an hour over schedule and included such gems as Reynolds choosing the iconic screen duo that is most like him and his wife, Blake Lively.
