Ryan Reynolds made a surprise appearance at Hugh Jackman’s concert in New York City — grabbing the mic to pay tribute to his close friend
Reynolds joked Friday that “we were supposed to finish this bit where these two security gentlemen come and they try to take the mic [from] me — it’s like a struggle, and then they tase me and I go down, and then they hog-tie me and then they put me in the Radio City music garbage dump, and then they just light it on fire.” Deadpool & Wolverine, helmed by Levy, featured a plethora of cameos including Lively, Jennifer Garner, Wesley Snipes and Chris Evans, and grossed more than $1 billion worldwide. Earlier this month, he joined Reynolds and Lively in skipping the Golden Globe Awards amid the drama, although a source told Us Weekly that their joint absences had nothing to do with the dueling lawsuits.
