Ryan Coogler On Making ‘Sinners’ Sequel: “I Wanted The Movie To Feel Like A Full Meal”


Ryan Coogler has no plans for a Sinners sequel, which is by design.

Jordan-starring film was released in theaters, the filmmaker said he thought of Sinners as a “full meal.” “I’ve been in a space of making franchise films for a bit, so I wanted to get away from that,” Coogler told Ebony in an interview posted on April 15. Who bought popcorn and a drink, booked a sitter and carpooled, and stood in the lobby afterward and talked and made a friend.
