“Black Panther” series director Ryan Coogler is on the same page as Denzel Washington in regards to getting the movie star into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Speaking on the Nightcap podcast with hosts Shannon Sharpe and Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, Coogler affirmed that he plans to cast Washington in the next superhero sequel. For Washington’s part, the actor told Variety that he apologized to Coogler for spilling the beans about plans for “Black Panther 3.”
