The former ITV host, 64, is making her I'm A Celebrity debut as a guest on the show's spin-off show Unpacked.
Ruth can provide hosts Joel Dommett, Kemi Rodgers and Sam Thompson with a closer insight into how they are getting on in camp - after viewers watched Jane loose her temper at Barry McGuigan in Monday's episode. A source revealed to The Sun earlier this month the opportunity to join the spin-off show had been a welcome distraction for Ruth during a challenging year following her split from Eamonn. The insider said: 'It's been a tough year for Ruth and she's been putting her best foot forward, she's thrilled to have been asked to appear on this the spin off show and fly to Australia ahead of Christmas.
