Ruth Langsford issues health update on beloved mum after nasty fall
After breaking her hip and needing a replacement around Christmastime, TV presenter Ruth Langsford's mother Joan is back on her feet and dancing in a sweet homemade video
Alongside an Instagram video of the 92-year-old peeling vegetables for the family's Sunday roast and busting some moves to the background music, Ruth, 63, wrote this caption: "MY DANCING QUEEN IS BACK!!! "As you can see she's recovered well after a hip replacement op but I wasn't able to get her in and out of the car before today... it's wonderful to have her here again (and I get all the veg for our roast peeled of course!) Reflecting on the heartbreak of 2019 when her sister sadly died aged 62, Ruth previously told Loose Women colleague Kaye Adams on the How To Be 60 podcast: "I needed a focus, which was - get up and I would cry in the shower - have a big old bawl – and then I could almost cut it off and go: 'Right, come on, time for work, dry your hair, go to work.'
