Buyers have stepped up to see Gladiator star Crowe return to do battle with the Roman Empire.
EXCLUSIVE: International buyers have sparked to the idea of seeing Oscar winner Russell Crowe return to battle the Roman Empire in action movie The Last Druid, a hot seller for AGC at the recent AFM. AGC has inked deals with Amazon Studios for UK & Ireland, Australia/New Zealand, and Canada; Plaion Pictures for Germany, Italy and Switzerland; Tripictures/Dea Planeta for Spain; Plus Films (Imagem) for Latin America; Arna Media for CIS; and Vertical Distribution for Poland, Romania, Ex-Yugoslavia, Hungary, Bulgaria and Czech Republic. AGC’s Stuart Ford told us today: “This one was exceptionally well received by the international distributors who were fired up at the idea of Russell in this role and responded enthusiastically to the screenplay’s skillful marriage of action and heart.”
