The comedian-turned-spiritual-guy tweeted that after becoming a Christian, he realized he had worshiped ‘false gods’ such as the MTV Awards and comedy specials. Then came the skeptics: DVegasDave was unimpressed, saying, ‘If you were sincere about your change, you wouldn’t do it in front of a camera.’ Hu Janus took it even deeper: ‘Maybe that hollow feeling was the realisation of your behaviour towards others.’ Another said Brand was using the ‘Jesus angle to beat the rape charges.’ And a comment also told him to ‘Get the f’ over it’ and worry about Palestinians in Gaza.
