Rumours swirl Sonia Kruger will 'jump ship from Channel Seven to Nine' to host new Golden Bachelor series
Reports have surfaced that Gold Logie winner Sonia Kruger is getting ready to jump ship to Network Nine.
Yahoo Lifestyle reported that an insider has tipped Sonia as the host of Nine's new dating show The Golden Bachelor, launching a 'bidding war' between the rival networks. Following the axing, TV Blackbox reported last month that Nine will be formally announcing an Australian version of The Golden Bachelor at its yearly Upfronts event in October. The series proved to be a ratings juggernaut for ABC, with the finale hitting 6.1 million American screens, giving the franchise its highest numbers in three years.
