RUMOR: Tom Holland To Face Two Key Marvel Villains In New ‘Spider-Man’ Trilogy

Marvel can’t get enough of their classic Spider-Man villains! A rumor teases that Tom Holland will fight his own versions of Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus.

According to Alex Perez from The Cosmic Circus, Marvel wants Holland to fight his own variants of Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus in the final installment of this saga. This rumor may disappoint some fans who were hoping for some lesser-known villains to take the spotlight, especially after the last Spider-Man movie was Tom Holland fighting all of his biggest baddies. However, given Marvel was clearly setting up the Green Goblin’s MCU debut in concept art for Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, it’s not a shock Doctor Octopus is following close behind.
