RUMOR: Seth Rogen To Helm ‘Venom’ Animated Movie For Sony Pictures

Could Sony Pictures finally be making a good Spider-Man movie? A new rumor suggests Seth Rogen is developing a Venom animated movie for the studio.

When asked why he hasn’t worked on a project with them in the past, Rogen admitted he’s afraid they’d constrain his process with his creative partner Evan Goldberg. Though it’s possible Sony Pictures’ particular lack of control over the quality of their Spider-Man films is what drew Rogen to this potential Venom project. Invincible has been hailed as one of the best animated superhero shows of all time, suggesting great things if Sony Pictures was actually able to snag Rogen.
