RUMOR: Eternals To Return In The MCU’s Mutant Saga

Are the Eternals finally making their return? The latest MCU rumor suggests that the franchise’s forgotten team may play a role in the Mutant Saga.

During a recent rumor round-up on The Cosmic Circus, entertainment reporter Alex Perez revealed that the team isn’t “done for,” and that their absence will be explained in the upcoming Mutant Saga. So while it’s not likely that their film will get a sequel anytime soon, it’s possible that the members of the team may finally be making their long-awaited return to the silver screen. That is, until one remembers that Apocalypse was recruited by the Celestials to ensure that evolution takes its “natural course”, serving as the character’s latest origin in the comics.
