Rumer Willis Dreams of Action Film with Mom Demi Moore, Inspired by Dad Bruce Willis' Genre 'Legacy' (Exclusive)

‘Trail of Vengeance’ star Rumer Willis says she’s 'excited' to see what mother Demi Moore 'does next' on screen. Rumer's dream project, she tells PEOPLE, is costarring in an action movie with Moore, continuing her dad Bruce Willis' cinematic legacy.

Rumer’s appetite for action was reawakened while filming the Civil War-era revenge movie Trail of Vengeance(in select theaters and VOD as of May 23), in which she stars as a gun-toting widow in 1875. “As a daughter and then also as an actor, as a peer, it's been such an exciting time to see her finally receive awareness and accolades,” says Rumer of Moore’s recent ascent to her first Oscar nomination thanks to The Substance. “My dad is such an action man,” she says, which was partly why she jumped at the chance to play a widow on the warpath in filmmaker Johnny Remo's Trail of Vengeance.
