Rugrats live-action movie happening at Paramount from Pitch Perfect director... featuring CGI babies


Paramount is bringing back its animated Rugrats franchise for a new live-action movie with a big twist: all of the babies will be CGI-generated.

The franchise started as an animated TV series that debuted on Nickelodeon in 1991, created by Arlene Kaspy, Gábor Csupó and Paul Germain. The film will be directed by Jason Moore (Pitch Perfect, Sisters), working from a script by SNL writers Mikey Day and Streeter Seidell, via Deadline.
