Rudabeh Shahbazi Joins Pat Harvey As Co-Anchor Of CBS Los Angeles Newscasts; Sheba Turk Upped To Morning Anchor
Rudabeh Shahbazi will joins veteran Pat Harvey as co-anchor of CBS Los Angeles evening newscasts on April 28 and Sheba Turk has been promoted to morning anchor.
Starting Monday, April 28, four-time News Emmy winner Shahbazi will join longtime CBS L.A. anchor Pat Harvey for the 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts. “Our goal is to continue delivering high-quality local news, and strengthening our lineup with two anchors who are both exceptional storytellers and deeply engaged members of the community accomplishes that.” Chauncy Glover, who had co-anchored KCBS/KCAL evening newscasts with Harvey and fellow anchor Suzie Suh, died in November at 39.
