Royal fans heartbroken as late Queen's companion dies aged 82
A member of the Royal Family, who was also a close companion of the late Queen Elizabeth and Princess Diana, has passed away and people have been left devastated
Lord Robert Fellowes was also Princess Diana's brother-in-law, having been married to her older sister – Lady Jane – for more than 40 years. Another wrote: "Robert & Jane Fellowes were part of the late Queen’s inner circle, even being invited to ride in the royal procession at Ascot in the last years of the reign. He also advised Her Majesty when Fergie and Prince Andrew's marriage ended and Windsor Castle went up in flames, destroying 115 rooms in 1992.
