Royal fans divided over Queen Camilla's missed 'opportunity' during D-Day visit

Queen Camilla could have brought the Royal Family 'into the 21st century' last week, fans claim, after she was filmed in an appearance alongside Brigitte Macron at a D-Day memorial service in Normandy

The potentially tender moment ended awkwardly as Camilla backed away from Mrs Macron, appearing to refuse the sweet gesture. One user wrote: "Camilla should have held her hand warmly, and taken the opportunity to bring the Royal family into the 21st century." "Terrible look and outdated protocol which is long past its sell by date... it would have elevated Camilla to do this it doesn't protect their specialness it diminishes their humanity," they said.
