Buckingham Palace responded to Jamie Laing and pregnant wife Sophie Habboo's video filmed in the royal residence in which they appear to mock Meghan Markle's twerking video
Social media users have been quick to speculate that the couple, who tied the knot in April 2023, were attempting to mimic Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's extraordinary "twerking" video, filmed before the Duchess of Sussex gave birth to daughter Lilibet in 2021. A palace aide told the Daily Mail: "I'm sure it was done in a spirit of fun, and of course aligned to Jamie's wonderful support for The King's Trust Awards - even if it's not something we would greatly encourage every guest to attempt." Jamie had attended the reception at Buckingham Palace alongside the likes of George and Amal Clooney to highlight The King's Trust's annual awards for some of the charity's greatest success stories.
