Royal Family Reveals King Charles III Will Return to Public Duties Amid His Cancer Battle
Two months after King Charles III's cancer diagnosis was revealed, Buckingham Palace announced the monarch will return to public-facing duties 'shortly.'
“To help mark this milestone, The King and Queen will make a joint visit to a cancer treatment centre next Tuesday, where they will meet medical specialists and patients. “It is equally heartening to hear how sharing my own diagnosis has helped promote public understanding and shine a light on the work of all those organizations which support cancer patients and their families across the U.K. and wider world. Buckingham Palace’s update comes weeks after Princess Kate Middleton revealed that she was also in the midst of a cancer battle, which her doctors discovered after she underwent a planned abdominal surgery on January 16.
