As members of the Royal Family turn their attention to celebrating Christmas on December 25, there is another senior royal who has an additional cause to celebrate
She is a treasured member of the monarch’s inner circle and trusted friend who was born in Belgravia on Christmas Day in 1936 as the second child of the Duke and Duchess of Kent. James married Julia Rawlinson in Essex on July 30, 1988 and had a daughter Flora Alexandra Vesterberg in 1994 and Alexander Charles Ogilvy in 1996. The princess has dedicated her life to public service and has supported hundreds of charities from Independent Age, Sightsavers, the Florence Nightingale Foundation and the Nature in Art Trust.
