Roy Wood Jr. To Host 2025 Peabody Awards
Comedian Roy Wood Jr. Will host the 85th Peabody Awards, set for June 1 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills.
Roy Wood Jr.CNN Originals The Peabodys, the program based at the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia, honors content from emerging voices that reflects the pressing social issues of the day. The Peabody Awards honors stories that defend public interest, encourage empathy and expand our understanding of the world, chosen each year by a Board of Jurors through unanimous vote. Last year’s winners included The Bear, Fellow Travelers, The Last of Us, Jury Duty, Reality, Somebody Somewhere, Reservation Dogs, Bluey, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver and 20 Days in Mariupol.
