Roy Wood Jr. Sets Hulu Comedy Special


Roy Wood Jr. will debut his next stand up special on Hulu.

Hulu will launch a new branded stand up hub in November, with Jim Gaffigan set to be the first comedian featured, while Bill Burr will also debut a new special on the streamer at a later date. Hulu will also launch a collection of licensed stand up specials, including recent releases from 800 Pound Gorilla and Comedy Dynamics. It was recently announced that Wood had signed a deal with Crown Publishing to write a memoir, “The Man of Many Fathers.” He has also appeared on shows like “Only Murders in the Building,” “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver,” and “Better Call Saul.” In film, Wood appeared opposite Jon Hamm in the 2022 film “Confess, Fletch” and will be seen alongside stars like Keanu Reeves and Cameron Diaz in the upcoming feature “Outcome,” which is directed by Jonah Hill.
