Roy Wood Jr. Prepping Stand-Up Special For Hulu
Roy Wood Jr. is set to tape an as-yet-untitled comedy special for Hulu in September, which will mark his fourth overall.
A comedian, Emmy-nominated documentary producer and WGA-nominated writer, Wood is best known for his eight years serving as a correspondent for Comedy Central’s Emmy-winning late-night satire The Daily Show. Hulu’s doubling down on comedy officially begins in November with the launch of a new special from Jim Gaffigan. Also recently announcing a forthcoming special from Bill Burr, the streamer will be back with news on further new hours at a later date.
