Roy Kapur Films, Digital Platform Pratilipi Partner to Bring Indian Stories to Screen, Beginning With Courtroom Drama ‘Charitraheen’ (EXCLUSIVE)
Indian digital storytelling platform Pratilipi has teamed with production house Roy Kapur Films to co-develop and produce a slate of films and series.
The partnership will see the companies jointly identify stories from Pratilipi’s platform, co-invest in their development, and collaboratively pitch and produce them for leading studios and streamers. “Our partnership with Pratilipi is rooted in a shared belief in the power of storytelling — to entertain, spark thought, and reflect the diverse realities of India,” said Roy Kapur. Roy Kapur Films’ upcoming projects include series “Matka King” for Prime Video and the internationally mounted historical epic “The Anarchy,” based on William Dalrymple’s bestselling book.
