People reported on Friday, May 9 that while speaking on a panel at 90s Con in Hartford, Connecticut, McGowan divulged new details of what it’s been like to live in a different country. The Charmed alum, who was a prominent figure in the #MeToo movement and outspoken against disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, shared that one of the reasons behind the move was because she was seeking a quieter life than somewhere like Hollywood or New York could offer.
