The U.K.’s National Theatre Live has unveiled cinema release plans for “ Inter Alia,” starring Rosamund Pike as a London Crown Court Judge navigating professional demands and family life. Pike, the Oscar-nominated star of “Gone Girl” and recently seen in “Saltburn,” portrays Jessica Parks, described as “a smart, compassionate, true maverick” who balances her judicial career with being “a karaoke fiend, a loving wife and a supportive parent.” The narrative centers on how an unexpected event threatens her carefully calibrated life. In additional programming news, National Theatre Live will re-release Benedict Andrews’ acclaimed 2014 Young Vic production of “A Streetcar Named Desire” beginning June 5.
