Rome Flynn Confirms ‘Chicago Fire’ Exit After 6 Episodes
Chicago Fire is another firefighter down as Rome Flynn, who portrayed Derrick Gibson in the NBC drama, is leaving after six episodes.
In the most recent episode, Flynn’s Gibson has a breakdown and tells Miranda Rae Mayo’s Stella that he needs to leave to enter treatment after having withdrawals from prescription drugs. Killmer’s character leaves after marrying Jesse Spencer’s Matt Casey as the couple start a new life in Portland, Oregon. The Chicago Fire Season 12 premiere also saw Alberto Rosende leave the show with his character Gallo, who only appeared in the first episode and moved to Michigan to be with his family.
