Roku Tops Wall Street Estimates In First $1B Revenue Quarter; Streaming Provider To Stop Reporting Household Tally In 2025


Roku easily beat Wall Street analysts' estimates in the third quarter, posting its first quarter with revenue above $1 billion.

Roku easily outdid Wall Street analysts’ consensus forecast in the third quarter, delivering a 16% jump in revenue to $1.06 billion and narrowing its loss per share to 6 cents. Platform revenue, the dominant category that includes advertising, increased 16% over the year-ago quarter to hit $908 million. Roku said its key performance metrics starting in January will be streaming hours, platform revenue, adjusted EBITDA and free cash flow.
