“ The Great American Baking Show ” is whipping up more seasons, specials and spinoffs at The Roku Channel and adding actor Andrew Rannells as the new co-host of the growing franchise alongside Casey Wilson and staples Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith. “Filming the ‘Celebrity’ series, where there is a more fun element to the baking, and where you know it isn’t taking up so much of one’s life as it is for amateur bakers, who are practicing in a totally different level, they are easier in many ways, to schedule in programs like that,” Kavanagh said. Rannells, who is replacing Wilson’s former co-host, “Severance” star Zach Cherry, will begin his hosting duties in upcoming seasons, including the previously taped “Great American Baking Show: Celebrity Summer Special” ( pictured above).
