Rod Wave Arrested on Gun, Assault Charges

Rod Wave was arrested in Georgia on Wednesday on 14 charges including gun and assault allegations. His lawyer says he committed no crimes.

Police in Fulton County, Georgia, arrested Rod Wave, the 26-year-old trap crooner whose real name is Rodarius Green, on Wednesday. A rep for the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, which listed Green’s arrest record, referred Rolling Stone to the Milton Police Department. “Ryan [Coogler] is one of my favorite directors out, from Fruitvale Station to Black Panther,” Wave said in a statement when the song came out last month.
