Rod Stewart to Receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2025 American Music Awards

Rod Stewart will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2025 American Music Awards on Monday, May 26. The 80-year-old singer will also take the stage at the AMAs for the first time in over 20 years.

Stewart, 80, is also slated to sing of one of his "timeless classics" on the AMAs stage, marking his first performance at the awards show sine 2004. " Sir Rod Stewart is a master showman whose charisma and energy have defied time and embody the very spirit of rock and roll, "executive producers Barry Adelman, EVP, Television, and Alexi Mazareas, SVP, Programming & Development, Dick Clark Productions said in a statement. "We are looking forward to another epic performance on the AMAs stage as well as celebrating his incredible body of work when he receives the Lifetime Achievement Award."
