Rod Stewart leaves Glastonbury stage to fix urgent issue as his glamorous backing singers take over the Pyramid stage during Legends set


Sir Rod Stewart made sure to put on an jam-packed Glastonbury performance on Sunday evening, but he had to let his backing singers take over midway through his set.

The Maggie May hitmaker put on an impressive show in the sweltering heat before taking a second break to change into an eye catching green suit while the girls sang Proud Mary Lulu looked sensational in an all-white ensemble consisting of fringed trousers and a blazer as the duo got the crowd hyped up with a version of Hot Legs. Running over by around five minutes, the hitmaker concluded: 'Thank you Lulu, thank you Ronnie and Nick, I've got to get off the stage now so I'm going to leave you with this', as he finished his set singing hit track Sailing.
