Rod Stewart told AARP The Magazine in an interview as their June/July cover star that he has so much more music he wants to create at 80 years old. The singer is set to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2025 American Music Awards on May 26.

In an interview with AARP The Magazine as their June/July cover star, the "Maggie May" singer spoke about how, at 80 years old, he is still thinking about making new music. In a video with AARP, the rocker also spoke about how he stays fit amid his rigorous schedule. His One Last Time Farewell Tour is also kicking into full gear, which sees him take the stage throughout North America at Philadelphia, Toronto, Nashville and Lake Tahoe, among other cities.
