Rod Stewart ‘Having Too Much Fun,’ Extends 13-Year Las Vegas Residency Into 2025

Rod Stewart extended his 13-year Las Vegas residency at the Colosseum into 2025 with announcement of 12 more shows; cancels 200th gig over illness.

Even as Sir Rod Stewart was forced to cancel what was supposed to be the 200th, and final, show in his 13-year Las Vegas residency, the indefatigable pop legend announced on Wednesday (August 7) that he will be back at it next year. Don’t miss The Encore Shows Las Vegas Residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace March 12-22 & May 29-June 8!” Stewart wrote on Instagram along with footage of the singer in his signature wild-pattern outfits singing his 1971 classic “Maggie May.” The news came just a few hours after Stewart, 79, announced that illness required him to cancel what was slated to be the final show in his long-running residency at Caesars Palace.
