Rock legend dies as iconic band mourn 'dear friend' and 'remarkable musician'


Keyboardist Richard Tandy from the legendary rock band, Electric Light Orchestra, has sadly passed away aged 76 - the lead singer Jeff Lynne is amongst those paying their respects

Richard Tandy, the keyboardist from the iconic rock band, Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) has sadly died aged 76. The band's lead singer and frontman, Jeff Lynne, 76, has been one of the first to publicly pay his respects to Tandy, taking to social media to express his huge loss. Lynne's statement on Facebook read: "It is with great sadness that I share the news of the passing of my long-time collaborator and dear friend Richard Tandy.
