Robin Wright Says She and Tom Hanks Didn't Hang Out on Forrest Gump Set Because He Was Always 'Out Running'

Robin Wright spoke about working with Tom Hanks on the 1994 film 'Forrest Gump' during an interview on 'Today' on Oct. 28.

“We were racing around shooting that movie and every lunch period Tom was out running,” Wright recalled of her time on set of the 1994 film. Speaking of her experience making the film, Wright said, “I would do anything with Bob and Tom and so when he called and said, ‘I don't know if it's gonna work, it's never been done before.’ And we all just said, ‘Let's get on board.’ ” At the movie's world premiereat AFI Fest in Los Angeles on Oct. 25, Hanks shared that he and Wright “picked up right where we left off” on set.
