The X Factor star, 35, took to Instagram on Friday to share the happy news as he shared an array of snaps celebrating the occasion with his fiancé and family and friends.
Details of how the Strictly star died have not yet been disclosed but he spoke openly about his struggles with his mental health and he'd been in a dark place before leaving London and was putting off returning. Beginning his next exciting chapter with his boyfriend Colm, he shared a video of the couple enjoying a huge bottle of champagne as they celebrated their engagement with friends and family, including Little Mix star Jade Thirwall. Sadly their relationship didn't go the distance, but the couple had already discussed marriage plans, revealing they wanted to tie the knot in a Downton Abbey style castle or British estate.
