Robert Pattinson Says ‘The Batman Part II’ Is To Begin Filming At The End Of 2025


After some delay, Matt Reeves' anticipated sequel could be filming end of this year.

Pattinson acknowledged the film’s delay, noting “it’s a while…everything feels so long ago because COVID just erased three years.” Pattinson’s confirmation comes after the film’s release date had been delayed from Oct. 2, 2026 to Oct. 1, 2027 by Warner Bros. and director Reeves told Deadline at the Golden Globes that The Batman II will start shooting at some point in 2025. Reeves’ first dark chapter in the franchise took in close to $800M for Warner Bros and garnered generally positive reviews as well as three Oscar nominations.
