Robert Pattinson Isn’t James Gunn’s Batman
The director shut down speculation that RBatz is joining the DCU.
But, per Collider, Gunn clarified at a recent press event that it’s “certainly not the plan” for Pattinson to be the new Dark Knight. The Brave and The Bold, which is set to follow Batman and his son Damien Wayne, is “in very active development” at DC, Safran said. Gunn noted that he’s working “very closely” with the yet-to-be-revealed writer of the film, but also hinted that audiences might meet the new Batman in a different DCU project first.
