Despite a famously strict dress code, with a controversial change to its rules this year banning cleavage and “excessively voluminous” clothing, stars are still managing to bring their personal style to Cannes. Case in point: Robert Pattinson who arrived at a photocall for his psychological drama “Die, My Love” in an effortlessly chic layered ensemble of trousers, a lemon yellow tee, light blue button down and chocolate brown suede jacket. Lynn Ramsay’s film, starring Pattinson and Jennifer Lawrence, is based on author Ariana Harwicz’s 2017 novel of the same name, which centers on a new mother who enters psychosis after developing pospartum depression.
