Robert Ovadia: Sacked Channel Seven reporter announces his next move after being dumped by the network


Robert Ovadia, who has worked at Seven for more than 20 years, was dismissed from his role in June.

Mr Ovadia, a two-time Walkley winner, was a veteran on-air talent with the network and was working as an investigative reporter and fill-in presenter in the Sydney newsroom before he was sacked. The veteran award winning TV reporter was stood down in June after Seven confirmed they had launched an investigation into allegations of inappropriate behaviour 'His respectful, honest and kind nature has made him not only a reliable mentor but also a good friend I could always call for advice,' the message continues.
