He added the entire Australia Zoo crew had been working tirelessly to ensure their wildlife were safe in the event that the cyclone struck the Sunshine Coast, which is projected to pummel south-east Queensland and northern NSW. Robert Irwin has revealed how he is keeping the animals safe at Australia Zoo on the Sunshine Coast, as Tropical Cyclone Alfred bears down on Queensland Gold Coast Acting Mayor Donna Gates says modelling now predicts the cyclone's stormfront could reach almost 150km inland, stretching as far west as Toowoomba and called it the 'most significant' event in 70 years.
