Robert Downey Jr. Shares Doctor Doom Valentine’s Day Card, Gets Marvel Fans Excited Ahead of ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Filming
Robert Downey Jr. is showing Marvel fans some Doctor Doom-inspired love ahead of filming his Marvel return in "Avengers: Doomsday."
The Oscar winner shared a Doctor Doom-themed Valentine’s Day card to his 57.1 million Instagram followers, complete with a box of chocolates inside the Marvel villain’s iconic mask. “I’ve been speaking to [Robert Downey Jr.] a lot, especially about him making his [Marvel] return, which is super exciting,” Holland said on the “Rich Roll“ podcast last fall. “Doctor Strange” star Benedict Cumberbatch spoke to Variety earlier this year about Downey’s return, revealing that he immediately grabbed his phone to message Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige after the news went public.
