Robert De Niro slams 'clown' Donald Trump outside courthouse

Robert De Niro has hit out at Donald Trump as he spoke outside a New York courthouse, where he was supporting Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in the 2024 Presidential Election

In addition to lending his voice to a Biden campaign ad, De Niro also took the chance to sound a note of warning about a potential Trump return to the White House, going as far as branding him a "tyrant". His comments were broadcasted by Fox News, while other cable networks continued with their ongoing commentary and a text scroll of the closing arguments. Trump was present in the courtroom while his lawyer, Todd Blanche, argued that the prosecution lacked a solid case.
