Throughout his acting career, De Niro has received praise for his roles in projects like Raging Bull, Taxi Driver and The Godfather Part II. The Oscar winner became a parent in 1976 when he welcomed son Raphael with his first wife, Diahnne Abbott, whom he married after working on the film Taxi Driver together.
